In this episode:
I share with you one of my biggest Ah-Ha moments that came to me while I was in the middle of freaking out with panic and fear. In the midst of me clenching on for dear life, my husband said something that snapped me out of my own head and within seconds brought clarity and a deeper connection to the moms I speak to about pregnancy and having a new baby. As I work through my fears I have come to realize how hard it is for me to let go and trust the process. Even when there is a large base of certainty I don’t like feeling as if I have absolute no control and that small amount of uncertainty weighs on me pretty heavily. I get that consciously this way of thinking makes no sense but the more I am out of my element the better I see things. This is how many expecting and new moms feel as they are growing and caring for their baby. I reached a whole new level of understanding which I know will only get deeper with time and various experiences. I didn’t like being so uncomfortable and scared but I appreciated that I was able to connect with others because of it.
